    • Supports Mental health: alleviating stress and anxiety, boosting motivation and energy, stabilising moods, and addressing challenging behaviours.

    • Improves physical movement and function: enhancing gross and fine motor skills, balance, coordination, and overall physical autonomy.

    • Supports communication and speech: refining both verbal and non-verbal communication, fostering expressive and receptive language abilities.

    • Develop social skills and identity: promoting social interaction and communication skills, nurturing a sense of empowerment, purpose, and agency.

    • Increases cognitive function: enhancing self-awareness and emotional regulation, aiding in planning and problem-solving, and improving attention and memory.

  • Registered music therapists (RMTs) have obtained a masters degree in music therapy from an accredited university course and are registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
